Sub Officer Application

We will be accepting applications for sub officers. We will be choosing 3 sub officers on the 16th of may at our weekly admid meeting. Please fill out the application as thourghly as possible.



Holding an Admin position in BornToKill brings along responsibility. The Leader and Officers are to be held to a higher standard with respect to actions. All Admin positions should follow this basic code of conduct

1) Member confidentiality is important. Do NOT discuss member information or disciplinary actions in guild chat or to other members. PM the member directly with any information.

2) No disrespect to any member, officer, or leader. This includes, but is not limited to, name calling, harassing, and offense language

3) Show no partiality or favoritism to any certain member. This means help all members equally regardless of previous encounters.

4) The leader and officers are responsible for all of their actions public and private. At no time should an admin place blame elsewhere from the source.

5) The admins should not discriminate against any member. This includes, but is not limited to, race, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender, and disability.

6) All admins should maintain honesty and loyalty to the Guild. At no time should a Leader or Officer do anything to hurt the guild. This includes acting immature or deceitful in public channels, scamming, hacking, or stealing.

Please conduct yourself ethically. Refer to the following Principle when in doubt.

Consequentialism
Consequentialism, as its name suggests, is the view that normative properties depend only on consequences. This general approach can be applied at different levels to different normative properties of different kinds of things, but the most prominent example is consequentialism about the moral rightness of acts, which holds that whether an act is morally right depends only on the consequences of that act or of something related to that act, such as the motive behind the act or a general rule requiring acts of the same kind.



This is what I have, in the making, for an officers code of conduct. If you think this describes you, then you are in the right place.

We are looking for three members to step up and fulfill sub-officer positions. We are looking for encouraging, reasonable, active, and helpful members. The sub-officer position holds a responsibility towards always striving to maintain our guild image, helping new and existing BTK members, settling minor disputes, answering to any officer requests in trade (if TS or a rank 2 isn't on), recruiting, etc. This position is not limited to the previously stated tasks, but includes all of them.

i would pm the BTK dood and be like: haii uhmm, i herd your KSing.
KSing is bad ya know that right?
and then i would summon to them and make sure they quit, and if not i would tell them i'd screenshot...
and then id screenshot, prolly say rawrrrr and report to gm.
then when a Officer or Trouza got on id let em know...

I PM him and tell him Ksing is bad, you can have a ban and when he dont stop i come to him make a screen and I report to the leader and leader he will solve it.

Well first I would ask the person being KSed to tell me the full story then i would pm the guild memeber and ask them to to tell me their story i would go to were the person is being KSed and if i see him KSing the person i would tell him to leave the area completely

i would first move over to were they are, then i would ask what is happening, and if he/she still says the BTK member is KSing i would have to ask why were u and if its true or if it gets to a point were he/she is just rly PISSED about it i wud ask the BTK if u cud give the drop back if its not a big deal or just farm else were..or like try to find a way to work things out with he/she

- 1st : I’ll pm back the complainant and ask him to calm down and assure him I’ll do what I can to ease the situation.

How do you plan to make a difference as a sub-officer? They say ‘more bright minds, more great ideas, more things done’ as an addition to the officers roster only augments what the officers / sub-officers already are doing…this time a manpower faster.

What leadership qualities do you possess? If applicable, please state an example: I am the eldest of 5 Children, so all my life I have had to be a good influence on them. I have had to be fair but firm, its never a quiet day around them


What leadership roles, if any, have you held? (can be in shaiya, any mmorpg, or real life event): Shaiya is the only MMORPG that I have really gotten into - I used to play WoW but it got too expensive o.O Back on OS I have led many PvP raids in 1-15 and 20-30, and I was up for being a GS on OS until I backed out of it. In real life - I work in a nightclub as a bar coordinator, which consists of supervising the bar staff and working on weekly rotas... Its a fun job ^^

What contributions have you made to the guild?: None so far - havent been given the chance to as I havent been on BTK for long.

They ask them to stop KSing but they say the BTK member still does : I'd go to DD2 and see if I could catch the BTK member KSing myself... If he was then I would PM him and politely ask them to stop - if they continue I would sincerely apologise to the person and email an officer telling them what happened... If I didnt catch the BTK member, I would PM them asking for their side of the story and try to come to a solution that suited them both.

How do you plan to make a difference as a sub-officer? I'm really good at solving problems and organising events. I play pretty much all the time, so I'll always be around if Im needed ^^
